Unlike others, we have created a hassle-free return policy to alleviate the headache associated with returning an order. If for whatever reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within 30 days from your invoice date, we will gladly accept your return upon verification of the order. Simply click HERE to request our Hassle-Free Return Authorization Number (RMA).
Procedure for Product Return:
- Log on to your account and click on "Request for Return" button right beside the according order, enter the required fields and submit request.
- Retrieve the RMA number through your email address.
- Write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the box in which you plan to return the product.
- Returned product must be well packed with protective material to prevent any physical damage. Products with physical damage such as scratches will NOT be covered under our warranty policy.
- Enclose original packing slip or a copy of purchase invoice/receipt in the package.
- Ship return products to our returns warehouse at 42982 Osgood Road, Fremont, CA 94539. And keep a tracking record for yourself. Returns must be shipped via ground shipment only. If you return your product via a faster, more expensive shipper, you incur the expenses yourself and any request for reimbursement will be denied.
Returns Must Meet ALL Applicable Criteria:
If your returned product does not match all applicable criteria listed below, it will be rejected by our Returns Warehouse and returned back to you. Consequently, your RMA will be nullified and any credit request will be denied and any replacement order will be cancelled. Our arrangements with our suppliers and manufactures allow us no room to make exceptions.
Returns Must be Complete
If your return is not complete, it will be rejected by our Returns Warehouse and returned back to you. All returns must include the following:
1. Original packaging material such as Manufacturer's box, Styrofoam, Plastic Bags, etc.
2. Original intact UPC barcode. Do not cut out the UPC code (for rebates) until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of return regardless of RMA or credit request status.
3. Valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). See RMA Conditions, below.
4. Original packing slip or copy of invoice.
5. All accessories and manufacturer documentation within the package.
6. Please write the RMA number on the label used to return the product or the brown shipping box. Products received with any writing on the original manufacturer's packaging or box will be refused and returned to you without credit approval. DO NOT WRITE THE RMA NUMBER ON THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER’S PACKAGING OR BOX.
General Return Policy
- Unless otherwise stated, you have 30 days from the date your product left the warehouse (regardless of when you actually took delivery of the product) to get a valid RMA from our website. Once you have obtained the RMA number, you need to get your product to a shipper to return back to us within 10 days. It does not have to be back in our warehouse within 70 days, but it does have to be in the possession of the shipper (along with the valid RMA). In most cases, you will have to take your return to an authorized facility such as a Post Office or a UPS facility.
- If you are ineligible for an RMA, contact the manufacturer directly or check any applicable warranty you might have.
- If you are returning a non-defective product, you MUST pay return shipping fees and a restocking fee. (See below for information).
- Customers are responsible for insuring the returned product. TheTechGeek will not issue any credit nor send out replacement if the returned product is lost in the mail.
- TheTechGeek DOES NOT reimburse any shipping cost for return if the product is not defective.
- Certain products we sell have Special Return Policies. See the appropriate policy below to see if products you purchase are affected.
- TheTechGeek will NOT accept or take responsibility for products shipped without prior RMA, COD, or freight collected basis.
- In cases of large, oversized or heavy products, that are defective we may issue a "call tag" and the shipper will come to you to pick up the product.
- Your return shipping fee will be refunded to your original payment form if the product is defective and you are receiving a replacement. However, if you are returning a defective product and not receiving an exchange, we can only issue a store credit for the return shipping, as we cannot refund an amount greater than what was originally charged.
After the Return is Received at the Warehouse
1. Please allow up to fourteen days for your return to arrive at our Returns Warehouse, delivery times vary based on shipper selected. Your return will be processed within 5 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) after receipt of the product.
2. Depending on the applicable policy you can request either a credit or a replacement when you return your product. TheTechGeek will replace the product(s)/credit to your account, as shown on your invoice, upon the receipt and verification of the return product(s). If you request a credit, your original method of payment will be credited as soon as possible after your return is processed and approved. If you request a replacement product, your replacement order will be sent to fulfillment once your return is processed and approved. How quickly your replacement product ships after that depends on product availability.
3. We do not ship your replacement order before we receive your return (cross-ship). If you need a replacement sooner than the timeline outlined above, please place a new order on the website, independent of the returns process. Replacement will be sent to the shipping address on the original invoice by default, unless specified by customer.
4. Purchases using GeekMoney can only be returned for GeekMoney. Purchases using cash can be returned for GeekMoney upon customer's request. If the initial purchase was made by both GeekMoney and cash, cash will be issued first, unless customer requests

25% Restocking Fee
Any opened product has a 25% restocking fee applied.
Non-replacement products
All free gift products will not be replaced after return unless they are defective.
Clearance Items
Items marked as clearance are returnable only if the item is defective. We will not accept returns on clearance items for any other reason.
Non-returnable Products if Opened
The following products are Non-returnable or exchangeable; therefore customer must carefully examine the box before signing for the package. Customer must reject the delivery for any damaged box when the courier is still on the premises.
All opened games and software is not returnable. You must contact the manufacturer.
All Radio Controlled (RC) products cannot be returned once the package is opened. Defective products must be returned within 15 days of receipt for replacement.
Game Bundle Return Policy
Entire game bundles may be returned for a refund with the 30 days only if the game is unopened. The product that is bundled with the game may be returned by itself for a refund or exchange within the 30 days as long as it was not a free gift. If the product was a free gift it may only be returned for an exchange and only if it is defective.
Bundle Return Policy
Products bundled together may be returned separately for exchange or refund within 30 days. If one of the products was a free gift then it may only be returned if it is defective and you will only receive an exchange for it.
Products with Special Warranty
All CD/DVD Duplicators share a 30-day return policy. All media duplication related devices are custom built and were tested under our QA team before shipping out to customers.
